Yep, instead of just learning theories and concepts that were originally relevant in the Don Draper-era of business, you’ll be able to perform, track, optimize and learn what works and what doesn’t.
Giving you invaluable experience that you can use in school, and proudly point to (and talk about) in that first interview.
Because really, what’s the one thing that every hiring person looks for?
Experience.
And the unsolvable riddle is always ‘how do you get experience if no one will hire you because you don’t have any experience’?
Well, you’re not alone.
I remember graduating with a marketing and psychology degree and feeling excited to start my career. And then …. NOTHING.
Gradually my excitement waned and was replaced by a gnawing nervousness as I competed for (entry-level) job after job with ALL the other new graduates.
So there I was, growing more anxious as my student loan slips started coming in the mail and I still couldn’t get a job. My solution? To tinker with my resume and use fancy action words to describe my experience not as a “video store clerk” but rather as an “account manager”.
And when I did get an interview, my talking points revolved around terms, theories and my role in a semester long capstone course. No one seemed impressed when I rattled off the 4 P’s of Marketing.
Needless to say it took YEARS of bouncing around (and a lot of blaming my Career Center) till I finally found a career/position that got me excited to go to work everyday.

So my question - and my offer…
Why wait to learn these skills till after you graduate? The better time to learn them is RIGHT NOW while you’re still in school, where you (presumably) don’t have money concerns.
If you get the skills now, you can bypass the entry level jobs you don’t really want, and start competing for positions that you’ve already earned.
Think of a date who "just doesn’t get it".
Maybe it’s their social graces or maybe their idea of kissing reminds you of a hoover vacuum. Do you want to teach them what they don't know?
Now, if you had another date who’s just as cute/smart/fun, and they’re already on your level. Who would you pick?
That knowledge and experience - that’s what I’m offering.
A chance to build and grow one online startup.

By being an intern, you’ll get the following:
Speaking of, here’s the super abbreviated version of that exhaustive list:
And lastly, when you go for your big job interview - you can list our company as one of your professional references, and we'll give you a glowing testimonial.

If you can go into an interview with experience, already speaking their language and provide instant value - YOU'RE GOLDEN.
Because you’ll be able to complement your youthful enthusiasm and energy (which employers love) with professionalism and insight.
If you can do that, you'll be a superstar. Especially in marketing, where marketing managers and copy writers can be (at the minimum) five-to-ten years older than the audience they're trying to connect to.
You won't have to try, because that younger audience is you.
But being a superstar "youth translator" is dependent on being knowledgable and experienced.
That’s why every employer always lists how much experience they’re looking for - they don’t want to waste time teaching, they’d rather have someone who can immediately start contributing.
This position is unpaid... However the learning you'll receive will be invaluable.
The investment in yourself and your own growth will pay off when you can list your actual hands-on experience on your resume, and talk fluently in that first big interview.

So, who is the ideal candidate?
You should have the following:
Preferable if you:
Our company isn't looking for a specific weekly time commitment, because as you’ll find out in your career, the more RESULTS and value you can provide, the more valuable you become.
So, we're looking for someone who can finish tasks and get results. That’s a better barometer than just an arbitrary amount of time like 20 hours per week.
